Radio 538 as Event Supporter
For three years now, Radio 538, part of Talpa Network, has been making live radio from the CM.com Circuit Zandvoort throughout the race weekend. With the 538 studio at the heart of the Fanzone, DJs, together with artists and fans, convey the atmosphere and orange madness to listeners. Through TV 538 and social media, the hit station will also report live throughout the weekend.
In addition, the 538 DJs are part of the overall entertainment programme and visitors can stay overnight in a 538 tent on the Dutch Grand Prix Camping. This way, Radio 538 contributes to the complete festival experience of the Dutch Grand Prix.
Orange feeling
Dave Minneboo, Creative Director Radio Talpa Network: “The cooperation between 538 and the Dutch Grand Prix is a perfect fit: together we embrace and enhance the orange feeling. Not just during the race weekend, but throughout the year.”
Pim Schmitz, CEO Talpa Network, added: “Thanks to the partnership between Talpa Network and the Dutch Grand Prix, we embrace the F1 domain with our entire network. From win campaigns on radio and branded content campaigns on our TV channels to social formats recorded at the CM.com Circuit in Zandvoort. We are happy to continue this successful partnership in the coming years.”
Jan Lammers, sporting director of the Dutch Grand Prix: “Talpa Network is one of the loyal partners who already supported our plans when just a few thought that this could be a success. It therefore makes me proud that they will stay on board in the coming years. Entertainment is an important part of the success of the Dutch Grand Prix and Talpa Network, including Radio 538, is making a contribution to that that cannot be underestimated.”
