The Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix has won the Best Event Award at the Bea World Festival 2025 in Rome. The event was honored in the Sporting Event category, a recognition of its extraordinary combination of sport, showmanship, and entertainment.
With the Super Friday initiative, the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix set a new standard for fan engagement in Formula 1. Key highlights included the Official F1 Opening Show featuring Snollebollekes, driver Q&A sessions in the Fanzone, and an awe-inspiring drone show. The day concluded with electrifying performances by DI-RECT and Armin van Buuren.
The award was presented to SportVibes, the agency responsible for organizing the event and its full entertainment program in collaboration with TIG Sports and Circuit Zandvoort. Joey Milatz, FOM Liaison Officer at SportVibes, stated: “We are incredibly proud of this recognition at the Bea World Festival. This award reflects our team’s dedication and creativity and motivates us to raise the bar even higher for the next two editions.”
The victory at the Bea World Festival follows the event’s recent accolade as F1 Promoter of the Year 2023, further solidifying its reputation as a frontrunner in the world of Formula 1. Since 2005, the Bea World Festival has been a leading networking platform within the global event industry. Each year, the festival presents the Best Event Awards, which took place this year on Friday, November 29, in Rome. For this edition, over 500 cases from 66 countries were submitted for consideration.
