The Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix announces a spectacular updated Pre-Race Show. The show takes place just before the Formula 1 race starts on the starting grid, with performances by Kris Kross Amsterdam, Tino Martin and Hans Klok. Together with the 90,000 fans in the entire grandstands, these performers will create a flag activation like no other.
Iconic flag activation
The 2023 Pre-Race Show featuring Andre Rieu with the flag activation on the main straight gained global recognition. This year, the iconic flag action will be extended to the entire circuit. With 90,000 fans and accordionist Hans Kap, Tino Martin will perform an Amsterdam Medley, turning the total circuit red, white, and blue. It will be the biggest flag action in Dutch sports history.

Performances Kris Kross Amsterdam and Showband Advendo Sneek
Kris Kross Amsterdam will whip up and guide the audience to the start of the race in their very own way with their set. Kris Kross Amsterdam will be supported by Advendo Sneek, one of the best show bands in the country. Advendo provides musical support and creates impressive racing figures on the main straight.

Every year just before the starting signal, we got goosebumps, because it is such a wonderful racing spectacle. That we get to provide just that moment this year, on the asphalt of Circuit Zandvoort and just before the race starts, is not only a great honor, but also one of the absolute highlights in our musical career!”

Spectacular closure by Hans Klok
The show will be closed by world-famous illusionist Hans Klok, who will unveil the weekend’s prize spectacularly. The renewed Dutch Grand Prix 2024 trophy. Hans Klok: “It is a wonderful experience to present the F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix Trophy in this way. Prepare for a magical moment!”
The national anthem to be announced later
This edition will also feature a special performance of the Dutch National Anthem. About which we will announce more later in August.
