Practical information about the Dutch Grand Prix Village

Spending the night in the heart of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix at the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village is a unique Formula 1 experience. To prepare yourself for your camping adventure right next to the circuit, we have listed the most practical information for you.

Check-in

You can check in at the campsite on Thursday, August 24 from 12:00-22:00 and on Friday from 08:00-22:00. Upon arrival, please report to the reception desk of the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village. Make sure to bring this ticket as well as a valid ID to the Village. This will be required when checking in. To gain access to the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village, it is mandatory to wear a wristband. You will receive this for you and/or your group at check-in. You will also pay the mandatory tourist tax during check-in. This amounts to €3,30 per person per night.

Reception

During your stay at the Village you can ask all your questions at the information desk located at the entrance of the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village.

Kiss & Ride

If you have purchased a ticket for the Kiss & Ride via the shop of the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village, you can use this ticket on Thursday, August 24 from 11:00-22:00 hrs. You will receive the unique pass digitally and you need to print it out and place it visibly behind the windshield.

NOTE: At the Kiss & Ride it is not possible to park the car and check in. One person must remain in the car and continue driving immediately after unloading. This is due to flow and minimum capacity to stand still.

Program

There is plenty to do at the Dutch Grand Prix Village. Enjoy various activities and entertainment at the campsite. Every evening the DJs of Radio 538, among others, provide a good party. See below when the DJs are spinning at the campsite.

Rules

Certain rules also apply at the Dutch Grand Prix. For example, smoking is not allowed on the village and you may not use your own BBQs and/or gas stoves. Also bringing glassware is prohibited. Check out

When your stay is over, you must leave your camping spot or accommodation neatly and clean. You do not have to check out at the reception. If you have bought an Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix tent, you may take the tent and all accessories with you. When leaving a pre-arranged accommodation with a key, you can leave it in the accommodation. The campsite closes on Monday, August 28, 12:00 pm.

Can I still change or cancel my booking?

Once you have paid for your product, you cannot cancel or return it. A 100% cancellation fee applies from the time of purchase. Only in case of cancellation, other conditions may apply. Please refer to the General Terms and Conditions of the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village.

To change the product you have booked, please contact village@dutchgp.com. To change your personal details please send an email to support@cmtickets.com. In both cases, please include your order number in your message.

Where is the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village located and how do I get there?

The Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village is located at Duintjesveldweg 3 in Zandvoort.

Check the website (click here) for transportation options to get to the circuit. In addition to these travel options, it is possible for guests of the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village to use Kiss & Ride. For arrivals this can be done on Thursday, August 24th from 11:00 – 22:00 and for departures it can be done until Monday, August 28th, 12:00. The Kiss & Ride service can be optionally added in the web shop.

What am I not allowed to bring to the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village?

You are not allowed to bring the following items to the 538 Village:
soft or hard drugs, laughing gas, glassware, knives, laser pens, bludgeoning, impact or firearms, or objects resembling or offensive to weapons, generators, gas and oil lamps, gas bottles, gas stoves and (disposable) barbecues, aerosols (except sunscreen, deo and perfume), candles, umbrellas (we recommend bringing ponchos as a precaution), musical instruments, horns or similar items, fireworks or flares, provocative statements on clothing, pets (except assistance dogs), advertising materials such as flyers, leaflets, banners (unless approved and provided with permission by the organization), professional film- photographic or sound equipment (unless approved and provided with accreditation by the organization), drones (both on the ground and in the air).

No pets are allowed with the exception of assistance dogs.

You may bring a small collapsible umbrella, provided it does not have a sharp tip. Foldable selfie sticks, or a stick for your GoPro are also allowed, provided they are no longer than 1m.
Small portable speakers with a maximum power of 30 watts on batteries are allowed, provided they do not cause a nuisance to other guests. Sound production is only allowed between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.

There is no public WIFI network available at the 538 Village

Are there toilets and showers available at the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village?

Toilets and hot showers are available at the 538 Village. You can use these free of charge. These facilities are separate for men and women.

Is there a camping store at the Official 538 Dutch Grand Prix Village?

A small assortment of practical items will be available at the hospitality square (toothbrush, toothpaste, gel, shampoo, etc.).

PLEASE NOTE: Smoking products will not be sold at the 538 Village.
