VDK Groep, a leading national player in installation technology, has partnered as a Founding Partner of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix for 2025 and 2026. Together with the organizers of this prestigious racing event at Circuit Zandvoort, VDK aims to maximize the potential of the final two editions and fully immerse itself in the experience.
Over the past years, VDK Groep has experienced significant growth in the Netherlands. With a team of 5,000 professionals and 100 companies, the group offers multidisciplinary expertise in installation technology for both small and large-scale projects. Additionally, the company is on the verge of expanding into Germany and Belgium. This partnership with the Dutch Grand Prix aligns seamlessly with VDK’s growth strategy and core values of entrepreneurship, workplace satisfaction, and social responsibility. Through this new partnership as a Founding Partner of the Dutch Grand Prix, VDK Groep aims to further develop its brand internationally.
Frans van der Kolk, founder and CEO of VDK Groep, said:“The Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix is synonymous with a premium product based on quality, technology, and innovation. These values align perfectly with our disciplines and the products and services we deliver. We believe this partnership with the Dutch Grand Prix is a powerful addition to our international ambitions.”
Formula 1 has been taking concrete steps towards a greener future in recent years, and 2026 will mark the implementation of significant innovations to substantially reduce the sport’s ecological footprint. The ambition is for all cars to switch to synthetic, CO₂-neutral fuels by 2026, contributing to a reduction in emissions. Moreover, there is a focus on using more sustainable materials and aerodynamic improvements to lower air resistance and, consequently, energy consumption.
The Dutch Grand Prix organization embraces these sustainability steps taken by Formula 1. For VDK Groep, these ambitions were a key reason to establish a partnership with the Dutch promoter. Frans van der Kolk noted: “These innovations can be broadly applied across the mobility sector. As a Founding Partner of the Dutch Grand Prix, we are indirectly contributing to these technological developments aimed at sustainable mobility.”

It is a great affirmation that a successful and rapidly growing company like VDK Groep chooses to collaborate with us and that businesses continue to see us as a platform to achieve their objectives.”
Even as the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix concludes in 2026, Frans van der Kolk views the partnership as an investment in the future. He concluded: “We continue to race and accelerate. At VDK Groep, we are steering toward a future full of innovation and growth because looking ahead is in our DNA. For us, the finish line is never the end but always the starting point of a new adventure.”
