This year’s Sprint Saturday on August 22 will be different from what visitors are used to. With the F1® sprint race starting as early as 12:00 p.m., the action in Zandvoort will kick off early in the morning. We therefore urge visitors to plan their trip carefully, leave early, and arrive at the event grounds between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. That way, you can start your day relaxed and won’t miss any of the extensive morning program.
A morning full of action and entertainment
Early birds will be rewarded. Between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., visitors to the Fan Zone will have a chance to win exclusive prizes, such as a tour of the Formula 1® Paddock, a peek inside an F1® garage, merchandise, and more.
In addition, the morning will be all about entertainment. Visitors can enjoy an F1® Driver Q&A, a live recording of the F1® Podcast, and an energetic performance by La Fuente. So even well before the start of the Sprint Race, there will be plenty of excitement on and around the track.

We’re encouraging visitors to complete (the final leg of) their journey to Zandvoort by bike. This way, you can travel in a relaxed and sustainable manner while experiencing the approach to the track as part of the event. Especially for Saturday, the route to the track—in collaboration with DHL and others—will be transformed into the Final Sprint: a bike route where fans can ride the final kilometers to the track together.
The first 6,000 cyclists to register will also receive a free bike parking spot right next to the main entrance (Gate 2) of the circuit.

Because many visitors travel to Zandvoort within a short period of time, it can get crowded. Plan your trip in advance and make sure to arrive at the circuit early. Consider one of the transportation options, such as biking (or using Park + Bike) to Zandvoort. Or take the Dutch Grand Prix Shuttle, which offers a guaranteed seat and fixed arrival and departure times.
Despite extra trains and adjusted schedules, stations may be crowded around the start and end of the event, with wait times that can reach up to two hours. If you plan to come by train, be sure to take one of the first trains to Circuit Zandvoort.
