Zandvoort aan Zee Station is within walking distance of Circuit Zandvoort, making the train a popular travel option for visitors. Especially for the event weekend, extra trains are deployed to keep waiting times as low as possible.

Please note: Large crowds are expected before and after the event, with potential departure waiting times of up to 60 minutes. We recommend staying at the venue a little longer to enjoy the Fanzone or explore Zandvoort. Alternatively, consider using the Dutch Grand Prix Shuttle for fixed arrival and departure times, or park your car and continue by bike using the Park & Bike option.

What time do the first and last trains arrive and depart from Zandvoort station?

No worries! The first trains arrive before the gates open, and the final trains leave Zandvoort late in the evening. Check NS.nl before travelling for the latest schedule.

I have limited mobility, can I still travel to the circuit by train?

There are no additional general parking spaces for people with reduced mobility in Zandvoort. Therefore, we advise visitors with mobility challenges to use the Dutch Grand Prix Shuttle or park at Park + Ride in Amsterdam-Zuid or Amstelveen and continue the journey with Connexxion.

What is the estimated waiting time between trains?

During the race weekend, 12 trains per hour run between Amsterdam Central and Zandvoort aan Zee, so you won’t have to wait long for the next train. However, due to the high number of visitors before and after the event, waiting times at Zandvoort Station may still reach up to 60 minutes.

To avoid the wait, consider spending more time at the event area, exploring the Fanzone, or enjoying Zandvoort itself. Waiting times generally decrease later in the evening.

Prefer more certainty? Choose the Dutch Grand Prix Shuttle, which operates with fixed arrival and departure times. Alternatively, make use of the Park & Bike option. Park your car and cycle the final leg to the station or circuit.
