Pon extends partner contract with Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix
Pon extends partner contract with Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix by two years. Pon will continue to be one of the exclusive partners of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix in 2024 and 2025. With 125 years of experience in mobility and a wide range of mobility products and services in its portfolio, Pon remains a relevant supporter of the event. With Pon’s support in the form of the thousands of orange bikes, the Dutch Grand Prix organisation is able to make mobility a sustainable and pleasurable event as well.
Pon, a Dutch family business, has a historical link with the Grand Prix in Zandvoort, partly because Ben Pon himself participated in the Dutch Grand Prix as a Formula 1 driver in 1962. The company is extremely pleased with the commercial results of the agreement.
“For Pon, the Dutch Grand Prix is an important hospitality event, where we invite customers, suppliers and partners to enjoy this event together in our own Ben Pon Lounge and on the Ben Pon Tribune, located on the straight next to the main grandstand. We are looking forward to the Dutch Grand Prix in 2024 and 2025 together with our relations. In addition, as Porsche importer, we are pleased to announce that the Porsche Supercup will remain part of the programme at Zandvoort.”
“As a partner, we naturally also contribute to the accessibility and sustainability of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix by allowing thousands of visitors to cycle the final kilometres on our Orange Gazelle bicycles. We are convinced that the combination of an electric car and (electric) bicycle is the perfect way to visit the Dutch Grand Prix, ” concludes Janus Smalbraak, CEO Pon Holding.
