Organisation happy with new dates for F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix on 3-5 September 2021
Following the Formula 1 publication of the provisional 2021 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, the first postponed edition of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix is scheduled from 3 to 5 September 2021. In view of the worldwide interest the return of the Dutch Grand Prix, after 36 years, in consultation with Formula 1 a date in September 2021 has been agreed.
Preparations start again
Organisers of the Dutch Grand Prix and CM.com Circuit Zandvoort were completely ready for the first edition of the F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix in May 2020. Both parties have agreed to the 2021 date and we look forward to celebrating our return to Formula 1 with our travelling fans and millions of others around the world.
Sporting director Jan Lammers says: “The return of F1 to the Netherlands was initially made possible by an entrepreneurial initiative, but just as important, that was followed by the massive interest of many race fans in our country. The return of the Grand Prix of the Netherlands will welcome fans into the grandstands in Zandvoort and fter 36 years it truly should become The Ultimate Race Festival.”

All tickets allocated, from fans that indicated that they would like to keep them in the spring, are valid for the F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix on this date. All ticket holders will be informed about this personally, by e-mail.
Dutch Grand Prix exchanges date with Historic Grand Prix
The Historical Grand Prix was scheduled at the CM.com Circuit Zandvoort from 3 to 5 September 2021. This classic car event is now moving to July 16-18, 2021. The main championship that weekend will be that of the ‘FIA Masters Historic Formula One’, but fans can also enjoy the historic Formula 2 and Formula 3 races. Anyone with a ticket for the F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix can experience this event at a discount and get in the mood at the completely renewed CM.com Circuit Zandvoort.
About the Dutch Grand Prix and Historic Grand Prix
The Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix and the Historic Grand Prix are organised by the Dutch Grand Prix (DGP). DGP is a company in which SportVibes, TIG Sports and CM.com Circuit Zandvoort participate equally. As advisor to DGP, the company has appointed Jan Lammers as sports director.
