Given the popularity of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, a process of application and allocation has been chosen. Below you will find all information about the ticketing process, ticket prices, ticket categories and the setup of the grandstands.
27th of May to 16th of June: Registration period
To have a chance to buy tickets to the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, fans had to register first via this website. Registration was free of charge and without any obligations. Every registered race fan had an equal chance of tickets.
25th of June to 9th of July: Application period
Due to the enormous demand, an application process was chosen. All registered fans received a personal link with which tickets could be requested. The unique personal link could be redeemed once, whereby a maximum of 6 tickets could be requested. All applications within the specified period had an equal chance of being awarded tickets.
23rd of July: Ticket allocation
All race fans who had requested tickets received an e-mail on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019, about whether or not the requested tickets were allocated. Unfortunately, we could not provide everyone with a ticket, so tickets were allocated via a lottery. Both the fans who have been awarded a ticket and the fans who were unlucky enough not to have been awarded a ticket received a message.
30th of September to 7th of October: Webshop open for fans who were unlucky enough not to have been awarded a ticket by lottery
In the first week of October, fans who had applied for tickets but were not awarded a ticket got the first chance to buy the remaining tickets to the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2020. They received a unique link to the webshop for this.
7th of October: Launch of public webshop
From the 7th of October it was possible for all racing fans to purchase the remaining tickets in a public webshop. The Sunday tickets for the race were unfortunately sold out, but Saturday tickets for qualifying session were still available. In addition to the exciting F1 qualification, spectacular Formula 2 and Formula 3 races, performances and various side events are also on Saturday’s schedule.
