F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix on 4 September 2022, ticket sales start 1 November 2021

Many tens of thousands of people enjoyed it, the return of Formula 1 during the first sun-drenched weekend of September 2021 to Zandvoort. And it was not only the historic victory of Max Verstappen, but also the enthusiasm of all the Orange fans that made it so memorable. For 2022, the 2nd edition of the F1 Heineken Grand Prix is scheduled for 4 September and ticket sales for that event will start on 1 November 2021. As from 15 October 2021 members of the ‘Dutch GP club’ can already buy tickets in the pre-sale.

1st Edition F1 Heineken Grand Prix was a success
The F1 organisation was full of praise, the drivers were genuinely enthusiastic and so was the reaction from the national and international media. The long-awaited traffic jams and congestion did not occur thanks to a proper mobility plan combined with timely and targeted communication. Only 2% of the visitors came by car. The organisation of the event and the limited public activities went well, except for a temporary cash register malfunction. Even sceptics believed the return of the Grand Prix to Zandvoort was a success.
New dates September 2,3 and 4 2022
The F1 calendar shows that Formula 1 travelling to CM.com Circuit Zandvoort on September 2, 3 and 4, 2022. Next year’s F1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix will be all about ‘The Ultimate Race Festival’. This means not only the best drivers in the world in Formula 1 and of course the presence of other spectacular racing classes, but also performances by various artists and a fan zone with many experience elements.
Ticket sales 2022, limited supply
Regular ticket sales will start on 1 November. Every potential buyer, who has registered with the Dutch Grand Prix, can request a maximum of six tickets for 2022 or for 2022 and 2023. Given the limited availability and high demand, the organisation uses a combination of an  application process and a draw. On 10 November, those interested will be informed whether the tickets have been allocated.
A large part of the tickets for 2022 have already been given to those fans that the organisation had to reject in 2021 due to the Corona measures. In other words general admission, non-seated tickets are no longer available. In addition, some of the tickets have already been sold to those fans who initially bought tickets for three years.
Presale for DGP Club members from 15 October
All members of the DutchGP club, those who had tickets in 2021, will get the chance to order a maximum of six tickets in the pre-sale. All these fans are already registered and have to pay for their ordered tickets directly. That order will then be available in everyone’s own online MyDGP environment during the course of the day.
Advance and three-year tickets
If fans have advanced their tickets to 2022 or are the owners of a three-year ticket, it will of course be valid for the 2022 race. In the pre-sale you can buy extra tickets. One must then consider that those seats of any new tickets, cannot be placed next to previous orders.

“We have really put something in motion in 2021,” says Jan Lammers. “The spectators, teams and drivers were super happy. Meanwhile, the preparations for 2022 are already in full swing, of course. We are very pleased with the dates in 2022. As said before; with this date we extend the summer in Zandvoort. It fits perfectly, right in the tail end of the holiday period, which is beneficial to the entrepreneurs in the region. We’re really looking forward to 2022 with a wide range of entertainment and even more fan activities.”
